Newsdate: 25 March 2007
ALARM Scotland would like to wish Sheena Rorison all the very best for her retirement. Sheena officially retired on 21st March after 18 years as South Ayrshire's Insurance Officer.

Sheena attended the very first ALARM Scotland seminar and has been a staunch supporter ever since, for which the Executive Committee would like to formally extend their sincere appreciation. Sheena, you will be sorely missed, but enjoy your well-earned retirement.

Special Interest Groups

 Newsdate: 9 August 2006

A new Special Interest Forum has been set up to consider insurance issues. The group will meet annually to identify particular issues, which may be taken forward by short term Special Interest Groups.  Check the Events page for future meetings.

ALARM Scotland have initially set up 2 Special Interest Groups, Best Value in Insurance and Lone Working. The remit of the Groups are set by the Executive Committee but is essentially to highlight the relevant risk range and ultimately pull together a Best Practice template for modification and use by all our Scottish Members.

If you would like to participate in either of these Groups, please contact Sandra Pearson 01595 744556 or on
sandra.pearson@sic.shetland.gov.uk.
